About the role:
We are looking for an enthusiastic Internal B2B Sales Executive to join our growing team in Rotherham. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in developing customer accounts, driving sales growth, and delivering exceptional service within a specialist calibration gas business.
As an Internal Sales Executive, you will be responsible for managing and growing customer relationships across your allocated region. You’ll work closely with prospective and existing customers to understand their needs, provide expert product support, generate quotations, and convert opportunities into sales.
You’ll become a trusted point of contact for customers while working collaboratively with internal teams including customer service, finance, and the wider sales function.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain strong B2B relationships with new and existing customers globally.
- Proactively identify and engage new calibration gas customers.
- Generate and follow up quotations to maximise sales opportunities.
- Chase and close opportunities via telephone and virtual meetings.
- Encourage customers to transition from ad-hoc purchasing to bulk supply solutions.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date sales pipelines within the CRM system.
- Provide fast and knowledgeable technical support on products and services.
- Work towards achieving sales KPIs and revenue targets.
- Collaborate effectively with internal departments to deliver excellent customer service.
What We’re Looking For:
Essential:
- Previous inside B2B sales experience – 2 years minimum.
- Experience selling technical or industrial products in B2B.
- Problem solving / analytical mindset.
- Excellent telephone communication and rapport-building skills.
- Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Commercial awareness with a proactive and positive attitude.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Customer focused mindset with excellent organisational skills.
Desirable:
- GCSE Chemistry (or above) due to the technical nature of the products.
- Pass in Maths / Science.
- Experience of selling globally.
