What will be your key responsibilities?

Value Leadership and Cash Delivery

  • Build and manage a high-quality pipeline of value creation opportunities in partnership with cross-functional teams, Operating Entities, and the Pet Nutrition ASPeN community. Ensure the portfolio is prioritised, governed, and progressed with sufficient pace and rigour to deliver agreed business outcomes, while representing Pet Nutrition in relevant cross-segment transformation initiatives.

Pet Nutrition Pipeline and Performance Governance

  • Lead the transition from a 12-month planning cycle to a three-year Value Leadership pipeline aligned with the 5+5 and 5S objectives. Partner with Commercial, Supply Chain, IE, R&D, Finance, RCH, and Category Heads to align priorities, targets, and delivery plans. Lead the Global Value Leadership ASPeN network to share best practices, resolve common challenges, and identify new opportunities. Manage periodic performance reviews and the annual planning and target-setting process.

  • Support Operating Entities in identifying, assessing, and shaping savings pipelines through Design to Value, cost benchmarking, and other value creation levers.

  • Lead the Global Value Leadership Big Rocks within the GTLT Simplification pillar, with clear prioritisation, governance, ownership, milestones, and delivery against strategic objectives.

Cross-Segment Leadership and Senior Stakeholder Engagement

  • Represent Pet Nutrition in cross-segment cost-saving and transformation programmes across Prime and MGS, ensuring segment priorities, requirements, and opportunities are reflected in enterprise plans.

  • Identify and accelerate scalable opportunities across segments, transferring relevant benchmarks, practices, and learnings into Pet Nutrition.

  • Partner with senior leaders across Commercial, Supply Chain, IE, R&D, Finance, and segment leadership to align priorities, resolve barriers, manage trade-offs, and secure timely decisions.

  • Establish effective governance within Commercial Pet Nutrition so that cross-segment savings translate into clear accountabilities, delivery milestones, and validated P&L impact.

  • Maintain senior-level networks and decision forums that provide transparent visibility of progress, risks, opportunities, dependencies, and required interventions.

Insights

  • Build and maintain strong external connections to stay current with evolving best practices in value delivery, including through conferences, consultants, peer companies, and other relevant external organisations. Develop performance insights and a data exchange strategy to support Value Leadership delivery, enabling better decision-making, opportunity identification, and performance tracking.

Capabilities and transformation support

  • Develop capability plans for the Value Leadership network, including change management, digital systems such as SAP, PLM, and Sievo, and financial acumen. Support major transformation programmes, including CAT and competitive complexity end-to-end supply chain initiatives, through effective deployment and execution. Champion alignment on investment priorities, increase focus on the Value Leadership agenda at key global forums such as GTLT, CLT, and S&OP+, and continue to evolve playbooks and working practices to drive value delivery, pace, and agility in service of 5+5.
