We are looking for a General Manager for a stunning canal side pub in Daventry. Salary up to £43,000 plus bonus and a generous benefits package.
Marston’s is one of the UK’s largest and most beloved pub chains, operating more than 1,300 pubs, bars and hotels. We are on the lookout for a great General Manager to take charge at The Boat House in Daventry and lead the team to success!

About the pub
The Boat House is a stunning premium-food business boasting an idyllic, canal-side location. This pub is highly seasonal and delights guests with our Signature food menu as well as a Sunday Carvery offer. The Boat House is a beautiful country pub that proves popular with hikers, dog walkers and families in the local area, as well as attracting guests to the amazing beer garden throughout the summer!
You will need to be an experienced operator with the ability to flex your skills to the demands of a highly seasonal operation. The Boat House currently trades at an average of £23,000 per week in net sales across the year, rising to £45,000 per week in the summer months and £18,000 per week in the winter months. There is also management accommodation available in the form of a large 3 bedroom flat.
