Locomotive Inn, Stoke on Trent - Staffordshire
RUNLOCOMOTIVE, FENTON
Overview: The Locomotive Inn is a traditional, 100% wet-led community pub located in Fenton, right at the heart of the local community. Currently achieving estimated weekly sales of approximately £3,000, the pub has a great local reputation and sits within the 800 Club for reputation. With live sport, darts, pool, weekend entertainment and strong Stoke City matchday trade, this is a fantastic opportunity for a community-focused operator to take ownership, become the face of the pub and grow an already well-loved local.
The Business: The Locomotive is a two-door operation with three distinct trading areas, providing different reasons for customers to visit. These include a traditional bar, a comfortable lounge and a separate back room featuring pool and live sport on the big screen.
The pub offers something for everyone, whether that's meeting friends for a drink, watching live sport, playing darts or pool, or enjoying weekend entertainment.
Its location close to Stoke City Football Ground also provides an important opportunity to capitalise on home matchdays and attract additional footfall.
The Opportunity: The next Pub Partner has the opportunity to build on The Locomotive's strong community foundations and develop it into an even busier, more vibrant local.
The strongest growth priorities are:
Growing and developing local darts, pool and pub teams.
Maximising live sport and Stoke City home matchdays.
Creating an enhanced Rhythm of the Week, with regular entertainment, activities and compelling reasons to visit throughout the week and at weekends.
The opportunity here is about more than simply running the pub. It's about becoming part of the community, getting to know the customers and creating the kind of local people are proud to call their own.
Who We're Looking For: We're looking for a great community pub operator, couple or team who will take real ownership of The Locomotive and become the face and heart of the pub.
You'll need strong people and hospitality skills, a passion for wet-led pubs and the ability to engage with the local community. The ideal partner will understand how to use sport, teams, entertainment and events to drive footfall while creating a warm, welcoming atmosphere that turns customers into loyal regulars.
What's in it for you?: This is an opportunity to take on an established wet-led pub with a strong local reputation and multiple opportunities to grow sales through sport, entertainment, teams and community engagement.
Ready to Take the Next Step? Run The Locomotive Inn and put yourself at the heart of a fantastic Fenton community. If you're ready to become the face of a well-loved local, build on its strong reputation and create even more reasons for customers to visit week after week, enquire today.
