The Wolvercote Inn is a fantastic destination food pub close to Oxford city centre, offering a strong mix of quality food, drink and hospitality. Currently trading at around £10,000 per week and delivering approximately 30% growth, there’s already great momentum behind the business and a clear opportunity for the next operator to take it even further.

The pub offers a two-bar operation, restaurant to the rear and a large garden, creating plenty of opportunity across both indoor and outdoor trading. With a 40/60 wet-to-food split, food is a key part of the business and its destination appeal. Key strengths include its strong food offer, location close to Oxford and versatile trading spaces.

The Wolvercote Inn is already on a positive growth journey, and the next operator will have the opportunity to build on those foundations. The focus will be on developing its reputation as a destination food venue, maximising the garden and outdoor trade, and continuing to grow both food and drink sales while creating an experience that keeps guests coming back.

We’re looking for an experienced operator, couple or team with a strong background in food-led hospitality, great leadership and commercial skills, and the confidence to build on the pub's current growth. You’ll know how to lead and develop a great team, deliver consistently high standards and establish the Wolvercote Inn as a go-to destination in the Oxford area.

You’ll receive a 25% share of weekly sales excluding VAT, plus a guaranteed annual retained sum of £25,000, released weekly. Low ingoing costs start with a £5,000 deposit and £360 legal cost. Separate owner’s accommodation is included, with most bills covered except council tax and TV Licence.
