Just a five-minute walk from York train station, the pub benefits from a strong mix of loyal daytime regulars and tourists visiting one of the UK’s most popular destinations.
The business currently operates as a wet-led site and features a welcoming main bar area, a cosy snug to the rear, a dedicated pool and darts area, and a sunny beer garden that is a real attraction during the warmer months.
With a good-sized kitchen already in place and space for around 35 food covers, there is a fantastic opportunity to introduce an own-food offer and broaden the pub’s appeal.
