We have a fantastic vacancy for a proactive and passionate People Partner to support the operations teams within our North Pub operations division. The role is suited to someone with previous experience in an ER or generalist HR role, who is passionate about our industry, our guests, and most importantly, our people. We are looking for someone who can drive business performance by working collaboratively with Operations Managers and their teams, providing sound commercial advice and people‑centric solutions. You will build strong relationships with stakeholders and work with them to deliver people plans to drive performance, ensuring we attract, retain and develop the best talent; support engagement, retention and a performance culture and promote a growth mindset. The role is a strategic generalist, reporting to the Senior People Partner, and is agile; you will manage your own diary to suit business needs and travel throughout our Estate as required.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive business performance by collaborating with Operations Managers and their teams, providing commercial advice and people‑centric solutions.
- Build strong relationships with stakeholders and deliver their people plans.
- Ensure attraction, retention, and development of top talent; support engagement and retention plans; drive a performance culture and promote a growth mindset.
- Provide support, coaching and advice to deliver an effective employee relations and HR service to Regional Operations Managers, Area Operations Managers, General Managers, and Team Members.
- Manage dispute resolution and long‑term sickness cases for General Managers and Operations Managers, ensuring strong employee relations through efficient, responsive and commercial support.
