We’re recruiting an experienced Marketing Manager to join our Brand Activation team at Marston’s, owning the end-to-end delivery of integrated campaigns and activations across the trading calendar. You’ll thrive if you’re a hands‑on campaign lead who can work at pace and deliver activation that lands operationally across a large pub estate and drives commercial results.
Reporting line & team structure
Part of the Brand Activation team within Commercial Marketing, reporting to the Director of Brand Activation. Works closely with Activation, Campaign & Partnerships, Operations, Digital, Comms, Finance, Legal, Training and agency partners (no line management).
Key responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end integrated campaigns and activations, from planning and briefing to in‑pub execution and post‑campaign review.
- Own briefs, timelines and budgets; ensure activity is operationally viable, on brand and delivered on time.
- Deliver across channels including in‑pub POS, email/CRM, digital, paid media and PR.
- Shape copy and messaging; brief, manage and quality‑check creative and content (including photoshoots) with agencies and internal teams.
- Monitor performance (e.g., sales, footfall, engagement) and use insight to optimise future activity.
- Build strong relationships with Commercial and Operations teams; present plans and updates to stakeholders.
About you
- Proven Marketing Manager experience in campaign marketing/brand activation.
- Hands‑on delivery across copy, comms, creative and email/CRM.
- Experience in fast‑paced hospitality, retail or leisure.
- Strong stakeholder management, organisation and project management skills.
- Commercial mindset with experience managing budgets and performance.
- Genuine ownership of campaigns end to end, with trust and autonomy to make decisions.
- Exposure to senior stakeholders across Commercial Marketing and Operations.
