The Smithfield Bell is a popular, family-friendly pub in Welshpool, ideally located on a busy retail park close to the train station, golf course and Powis Castle and Gardens. This is a great Welshpool pub opportunity with strong local and tourist trade, attracting families, walkers, cyclists and visitors from nearby caravan parks, canal routes and local attractions.
With an outdoor play area, a spacious bar, TVs and a pool table, it has genuine all-round appeal. The pub currently offers a traditional food menu, alongside a fabulous pizza oven and has space for around 160 covers inside and 40 outside. This community food pub currently trades with a 65:35 dry to wet sales mix and expected weekly sales of around £15,000. With the right consistent, food-led operator driving standards, entertainment and guest experience, there is clear potential to grow sales to £18,000–£20,000 per week.
