We are looking for a General Manager for a popular carvery Pub in Malinsgate, Telford. Salary up to £45,000 plus bonus and a generous benefits package.
Marston’s is one of the UK’s largest and most beloved pub chains and today, we operate more than 1,300 pubs, bars and hotels. Now, we’re on the lookout for a great General Manager to take charge at the Severn Gorge in Telford and lead the team to success!

About the pub:
The Severn Gorge is a perfect opportunity for an experienced General Manager to showcase their skills. The Severn Gorge is set in a lively part of Telford, with close proximity to the main road it benefits from a lot of passing custom. Close to the popular Southwater leisure and retail complex. It’s a vibrant area with a great mix of locals and visitors, making the ideal customer base for family focused events and live music.
The Severn Gorge is currently trading an average of £22,000 per week in net sales, with a sales mix of Wet:30 Dry:70. This pub has an established carvery guest base and can accommodate 1400 covers on a weekly basis. We are looking for a community focused General Manager who is comfortable delivering a value food offer. Experience in delivering a carvery would be advantageous but isn’t essential. The private accommodation is a 2-bedroom flat situated above the pub.
