The Railway Inn benefits from being located close to the centre of Swadlincote and within proximity to the local park and amenities. Swadlincote is an English town in Derbyshire, near its borders with Leicestershire and Staffordshire, about 5 miles south-east of Burton upon Trent. The main attractions in Swadlincote are local parks, such as Maurice Lea at Church Gresley and Eureka park which is next door to the pub, Green Bank Leisure Centre and a large dry ski slope.
The Railway pub is split into 3 different bar areas. The main area has a central bar which services the main bar as well as a sports room with pool table and dart board. There is a separate function room which can be utilised for dining and private functions/events, as well as a good-sized garden area and large car park. This pub benefits from being the heart of the local community so being able to do local networking will be paramount to driving sales and functions.
The site currently takes on average £3,000 per week but has the potential to increase the weekly sales by focusing on relaunching the full company food offer, functions and family friendly activities; bringing new and returning customers back to the Railway. We are looking for an experienced operator(s) with advertising & sales driving skills and someone with a proactive and ambitious attitude to drive this site forward.
