We’re on the lookout for a Commis Chef to join our team at Marston’s in Durham, ENG, GB. This full-time on-site position offers opportunities for career growth. You’ll prep, create and bring our pub menu to life and have a passion for food. From learning new prepping skills to owning a section of the kitchen, there’s plenty to get involved with while growing your career and developing skills you can take home.

Responsibilities

  • Prep, create and bring the pub menu to life
  • Learn new prepping skills and bring meals to life for the first time
  • Own a section of the kitchen and support day-to-day running
  • Deliver great, hot food to specification each and every time
  • Work within a team in a fast-paced environment

Qualifications

  • Experience in a similar Chef role or as an experienced Kitchen Porter (KP)
  • Be willing to learn about kitchen areas and procedures
  • Ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
  • Passion for delivering quality food to spec
