My client is looking for a Cybersecurity Analyst to play a key role in protecting systems, people, and data. This is a hands-on operational role where you'll monitor threats, respond to incidents, and help ensure technology remains secure, resilient, and user-friendly.
What you'll do:
- Monitor and investigate security alerts and incidents
- Respond to phishing, malicious email, access, and device-related security issues
- Support incident response, root cause analysis, and security improvements
- Manage and maintain security tools (SIEM, CASB, MDR, Azure security services)
- Monitor identity and access activity for suspicious behaviour
- Assist with vulnerability prioritisation and remediation
- Contribute to security awareness and secure system implementation
- Participate in an on-call rota for urgent out-of-hours alerts
What you'll bring:
- 5+ years' experience in a Cyber Security Analyst role
- Strong knowledge of networks, systems, and security controls
- Hands-on experience with SIEM, CASB, MDR, and Azure security
- Experience investigating security incidents and breaches
- Ability to clearly communicate security risks to technical and non-technical stakeholders
Certifications:
- CompTIA Security+ (essential)
- Microsoft AZ-500 or SC-200 (desirable)
