Here at NSL, part of Marston Holdings Ltd., we are currently recruiting for a Public Space Surveillance Operator [CCTV] to work with our partners such as the Police, NCA, DWP and other investigatory bodies in keeping our communities safe. You will be monitoring real-time CCTV and directing Officers by radio to incidents and securing evidence.

Due to police vetting requirements, applicants must have continuously resided in the UK for the last 5 years. All applicants applying to this role must hold a Full UK Driving License.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Identifying, reporting, and recording anything suspicious.
  • Operating the cameras and equipment effectively, ensuring the best evidential quality images are recorded.
  • Writing reports or witness statements and attending court to give evidence supporting the CCTV images.
  • Liaising confidently with external and internal agencies such as DWP, National Crime Agency and other investigatory bodies.

Requirements:

  • Full training will be provided.
  • Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings and weekends, is essential.
  • Full UK Driving Licence is essential.
  • Valid SIA Public Space Surveillance (CCTV) Licence is essential.
  • Strong customer service and communication skills.
  • Ability to produce clear and accurate reports.
  • Successful candidates will be subject to Metropolitan Police vetting to NPPV3/SC (High Level) standard.
