This is a hands-on Marketing Assistant role, ideal for someone at the start of their marketing career who is looking for real, practical experience in a technology-led business within a large Group structure. You will join the Marston Holdings Central Marketing Team, with a core focus on VidAlert, our industry leading, AI-powered ANPR and enforcement technology. You’ll support content creation, multi-channel campaigns and account-based marketing targeted at our local authority client base. This is a fast-moving, practical B2B role where you’ll work across different business units, gain exposure to a wide range of marketing activity, and benefit from clear development opportunities.

What You’ll Do

  • Create clear, engaging content that explains VidAlert’s technology and services in a simple, compelling way for print and digital channels, including:
  • Case studies
  • Blogs and articles
  • News stories and announcements
  • Work closely with the social media team to supply content for organic and paid channels.
  • Support the planning and delivery of events, both digital and in-person.
  • Take ownership of admin tasks such as booking events and raising purchase orders.
  • Maintain marketing audit trails and organise SharePoint folders.
  • Engage with internal and external stakeholders across different business divisions.
  • Support campaigns that increase brand awareness and generate sales opportunities for VidAlert and Marston Holdings.
  • Track and report on marketing activity performance using HubSpot.
  • Maintain contact lists and basic marketing data in HubSpot.
  • Log and update requests in the HALO marketing system, escalating where required.
  • What You’ll Bring

    • Strong written skills with an interest in content creation.
    • Comfortable editing and proofreading your own work.
    • Curious about technology, AI or SaaS products (no technical background required).
    • Basic understanding of social media and digital marketing.
    • Good interpersonal skills and a willingness to learn.
    • Confident using standard office software and marketing tools.
    • Working towards CIM Level 4 or a relevant degree (desirable).
    • Some experience in marketing, communications, content or a related role.
    • Flexible and motivated, with a willingness to travel occasionally for events or meetings.
