Introduction into the position

The role of

Despatch and Stock Co-ordinator is key to the success of our Technology division.

You will support the smooth running of our operations by ensuring stock is accurately managed, purchase orders are raised on time, and customer orders are despatched efficiently.

Working closely with Production, Procurement, Finance and Field Engineering teams, you'll play an important role in keeping our supply chain moving.

What you will be doing

  • Managing goods in and coordinating the despatch of stock to customers.
  • Maintaining accurate stock records and supporting regular stock checks.
  • Raising purchase requisitions and purchase orders.
  • Liaising with suppliers regarding quotes, pricing and lead times.
  • Arranging stock movements between Technology sites and supporting the Field Engineering team.
  • Supporting the implementation and ongoing use of a new ERP/MRP system.

What we are looking for

  • Experience in stock control and inventory management.
  • Experience raising purchase orders.
  • Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office (Excel and Outlook).
  • A proactive, self-motivated approach with strong communication skills.
  • Experience with D365 ERP/MRP systems and LEAN principles would be an advantage.
