As a Multi‑Skilled Operative, you will supervise and carry out the collection and transfer of change from the pay and display machines to a secure counting facility, making sure that there is a full audit trail maintained and recorded. You are the eyes and ears of the local community, patrolling areas, providing advice to residents and members of the public, while enforcing road traffic orders and issuing parking fines. You will play a significant role in reducing traffic congestion and improving air quality through the enforcement of parking restrictions.

A full UK driving licence is essential.

What do you need to be a Multi‑Skilled Operative?

  • Full UK driving licence essential.
  • Knowledge of parking equipment desirable.
  • Good written and verbal communication.
  • Ability to plan different driving routes.
  • SIA Licence desirable.
  • Cash collection/receiving knowledge desirable.
  • GCSE or Equivalent in English & Maths.

You will be required to work 40 hours per week, Monday to Sunday (including Bank Holidays). Shifts vary so flexibility for the role is essential.
