We are currently have an exciting opportunity for a Traffic Engineer to join our team based in our London office! Project Centre, part of Marston Holdings, is a leading multi-disciplinary design, engineering, and landscape architecture consultancy whose highly talented people are passionate about creating places that are attractive, innovative, sustainable, and safe. Led by a forward-thinking management team we work together in multi-disciplinary teams providing considered and sustainable services and solutions. Our approach to integrated design produces award winning results that have won international recognition. This is a full-time permanent role, hybrid working with 2 – 3 days in the office.
What you will be doing:
- Providing technical support across a range of consultancy commissions
- Producing high-quality technical reports and designs in accordance with industry standards
- Conducting on-site visits to gather essential data and asset
- Analysing survey data related to traffic patterns, pedestrian activity, public transport usage, and more
- Ensuring project files are up-to-date and compliant with quality assurance standards
- Collaborating with colleagues from different disciplines to broaden your skills and knowledge base
What we are looking for:
- A relevant degree or equivalent qualification in engineering
- Membership or working towards membership of a professional institution
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in traffic engineering or related field
- Strong understanding of highways and traffic engineering principles
- Proficiency in AutoCAD or similar design software
- Familiarity with relevant regulations and standards, such as TMA 2004 and DMRB
What’s in it for you?
