Project Centre is looking for an experienced Transport Planning & Development Technical Director to lead and grow our Transport Planning & Development (TP&D) teams, strengthen our client relationships and help shape the future of our service offering.
This is an exciting opportunity to step up into a senior leadership role. You'll combine technical expertise, commercial acumen and strategic vision to drive business growth, develop our people and deliver high quality solutions for clients across the UK.
What You'll Be Doing
Manage transport planning commissions from inception to completion, delivering sustainable, inclusive and practical design solutions.
Provide hands-on design input and technical direction, reviewing drawings, specifications, reports and contract documentation to ensure exceptional standards.
Work collaboratively with colleagues across urban design, highways, drainage, transport, ecology, arboriculture, lighting and other engineering disciplines.
Oversee project scope, fees, budgets, programmes, resources, risks and change to ensure successful and profitable delivery.
Allocate workload to team members, supporting their professional development and performance.
