Here at NSL, part of Marston Holdings Ltd., we are currently recruiting for a Public Space Surveillance Operator (CCTV) to work with our partners such as the Police, NCA, DWP and other investigatory bodies in keeping our communities safe. You will be monitoring real-time CCTV, directing Officers by radio to incidents, and securing evidence.
Due to police vetting requirements, applicants must have continuously resided in the UK for the last 5 years. All applicants applying to this role must hold a Full UK Driving Licence.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Identifying, reporting, and recording anything suspicious.
- Operating the cameras and equipment effectively, ensuring the best evidential quality images are recorded.
- Writing reports or witness statements and attending court to give evidence supporting the CCTV images.
- Liaising confidently with external and internal agencies such as DWP, National Crime Agency, and other investigatory bodies.
Requirements:
- Full training will be provided.
- Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings and weekends, is essential.
- Full UK Driving Licence is essential.
- Valid SIA Public Space Surveillance (CCTV) Licence is essential.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to produce clear and accurate reports.
- Successful candidates will be subject to Metropolitan Police vetting to NPPV3/SC (High Level) standard.
