This is a role for people who value independence, take responsibility seriously, enjoy working outdoors and are motivated to make a positive difference in their local community. As one of our Civil Enforcement Officers – also known as Traffic Wardens or Parking Attendants – you’ll help keep streets safe, accessible and fair for everyone. Every day is varied and engaging, requiring accountability, sound judgement and the ability to work outdoors in all weathers while playing an important part in supporting the public.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Patrolling streets and car parks with confidence and professionalism
  • Supporting the public with clear, helpful guidance, including advice on where to park safely
  • Spending extended periods outdoors on your feet, staying active in all weather conditions
  • Encouraging fair and safe parking by issuing notices when required
  • Helping to keep traffic moving and neighbourhoods accessible
  • Reporting issues such as abandoned vehicles or blocked access points
  • Working in partnership with local authorities and councils
  • Acting with integrity and contributing to a safer, more welcoming community
