About the Role

Marston Holdings is seeking an experienced Estates Electrician to join our Estates & Facilities team. This regional role supports the delivery of a safe, efficient, and customer‑focused estates service across a diverse property portfolio covering Greater London, the Southern and Central Counties, with occasional overnight stays required. You will be responsible for carrying out both planned and reactive electrical and building maintenance, working across electrical systems, fire alarms, HVAC, and plant equipment. You will also provide subject‑matter expertise and a high standard of customer service. In addition, the role includes undertaking general maintenance tasks such as joinery, painting, and decorating as required.

What You Will Do

  • Deliver planned and reactive electrical and building maintenance across the estate
  • Carry out inspections, fault finding, testing, repairs and upgrades
  • Support general facilities tasks where required
  • Manage your own workload to meet SLAs and KPIs
  • Ensure all work is recorded accurately using relevant systems
  • Comply with health & safety policies and undertake risk assessments
  • Communicate effectively with site occupiers and stakeholders

What You Will Bring

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in electrical maintenance (commercial/industrial)
  • Competent in certifying own work and issuing Minor Works and Electrical Installation Certificates as required
  • Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to work independently
  • Organised, reliable and comfortable in a fast‑paced environment
  • Happy to travel around the region but also available to support the Northern territory with larger ad‑hoc jobs that may require overnight stays
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Electrical apprenticeship with City & Guilds or equivalent
  • BS 7671 (18th Edition) Inspection & Testing qualification (2391 or equivalent – training available)
