As a Civil Enforcement Officer (Traffic Warden or Parking Attendant), you will help keep streets safe, accessible, and fair for all.

Every day is varied and engaging, requiring accountability, sound judgement and the ability to operate outdoors in all weathers while supporting the public.

Responsibilities

  • Patrol streets and car parks with confidence and professionalism.
  • Support the public with clear, helpful guidance, including advice on where to park safely.
  • Spend extended periods outdoors on your feet, staying active in all weather conditions.
  • Encourage fair and safe parking by issuing notices when required.
  • Help keep traffic moving and neighbourhoods accessible.
  • Report issues such as abandoned vehicles or blocked access points.
  • Work in partnership with local authorities and councils.
  • Act with integrity and contribute to a safer, more welcoming community.

Qualifications

  • Enjoy working alone for extended periods and value being part of a supportive team.
  • Physically resilient and comfortable working outdoors in all weathers.
  • A high level of self‑motivation and accountability.
  • Strong people skills with a calm, professional, approachable manner.
