We are looking for a friendly, professional, and proactive Workplace Concierge Apprentice to join our team and help create an outstanding experience for employees, visitors, and clients. This is an exciting opportunity for someone looking to start a career in workplace experience, hospitality, facilities management, or office operations within a fast‑paced corporate environment.

The Apprenticeship

You will work towards ‘The Facilities Manager Apprenticeship’ this is a 15 month programme where you will learn all aspects of operational support as well as gaining a professional qualification with the IWFM Institute of Workplace and Facilities Management. You will also undertake a range of training alongside your daily role which will provide a broad range of knowledge about the job, as well as building your skills and behaviours. This apprenticeship gives you the tools and confidence to supervise facilities services effectively. You’ll learn how to manage people, solve problems, and deliver safe, efficient, and sustainable operations - setting you up for progression.

The Role

As the welcoming face of the workplace, you will support the smooth day‑to‑day running of the office while delivering a high standard of customer service and workplace support. Key responsibilities include:

  • Welcoming employees, visitors, and contractors while managing reception and visitor processes
  • Supporting meeting room setup, resets, and basic AV assistance
  • Monitoring workplace standards including cleanliness, lighting, temperature, and office presentation
  • Raising and tracking facilities and maintenance requests
  • Assisting with office moves, workplace events, and hospitality services
  • Managing incoming and outgoing post, including logging and handling important legal correspondence
  • Supporting document management, filing, scanning, and archiving processes
  • Updating workplace systems, reports, and operational records
  • Assisting the Executive Support and Legal teams with meetings, events, refreshments, and administrative support

You will also complete apprenticeship training modules and gain valuable hands‑on experience across workplace operations and facilities management.

About You

We are looking for someone who:

  • Has a strong customer service mindset and a positive attitude
  • Is professional, approachable, and eager to learn
  • Has good communication and organisational skills
  • Can prioritise tasks and work effectively in a busy environment
  • Is comfortable using Microsoft Office and basic IT systems
  • Has an interest in workplace experience, hospitality, customer service, or facilities management

Previous hospitality, reception, or front of house experience would be advantageous but is not essential.
