Here at NSL, part of Marston Holdings Ltd., we are currently recruiting for a Public Space Surveillance Operator [CCTV] to work with our partners such as the Police, NCA, DWP and other investigatory bodies in keeping our communities safe. You will be monitoring real‑time CCTV, directing Officers by radio to incidents, and securing evidence.

Due to police vetting requirements, applicants must have continuously resided in the UK for the last 5 years. All applicants applying to this role must hold a Full UK Driving License.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Identifying, reporting, and recording anything suspicious.
  • Operating the cameras and equipment effectively, ensuring the best evidential quality images are recorded.
  • Writing reports or witness statements and attending court to give evidence supporting the CCTV images.
  • Liaising confidently with external and internal agencies such as DWP, National Crime Agency, and other investigatory bodies.

Key Information About the Role Requirements:

  • Full training will be provided.
  • Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings and weekends, is essential.
  • Full UK Driving Licence is essential.
  • Valid SIA Public Space Surveillance (CCTV) Licence is essential.
  • Strong customer service and communication skills.
  • Ability to produce clear and accurate reports.
  • Successful candidates will be subject to Metropolitan Police vetting to NPPV3/SC (High Level) standard.
