NSL, part of Marston Holdings Limited, has an excellent opportunity for a Vehicle Inspector to join their team on a full-time, permanent basis. What you’ll be doing:

  • Carry out vehicle inspections in line with Transport for London (TfL) Quality Assurance systems.
  • Inspect Taxis and Private Hire Vehicles to meet TfL licensing criteria.
  • Record inspection findings using PCs and Handheld Computers.
  • Liaise with customers, offering test feedback, advice, and guidance in terms of re-booking and rectifications required.
  • Update the system with any vehicle changes, damage reports or new documentation.
  • Liaise with colleagues and TfL over policy, procedures, and changes.

  • Close attention to detail, ability to check documentation to ensure it is accurate and check vehicles to ensure they are in line with the licensing rules.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Effective time management and organisational skills.
  • Strong report writing abilities.
  • Full clean UK driving licence.
