At NSL, part of Marston Holdings Ltd,we’refar more than “the parking people. We currently have over 4000 highly trained frontline colleagues and now due to continued growth we have opportunities available in our award-winning teams for an HGV Driver.

All applicants for this role must hold a full UK driving licence and a Class 2 HGV licence. HIAB license is desirable.

This is a full-time rolecontracted at 42.5 hours per week.

Whatyou’llbe doing

• Attends a daily briefing and collects all removal informationand reports relevant to the day’s work.
• Ensures vehicle and equipmentisserviceable and fit for purpose, reports all faults to the Pound Manager.
• Carries out a physical examination of all lifting and towing equipment, and ensures the digital tachograph isoperatingcorrectly.
• Checks to make sure the recovery vehicleis capable of removingthe vehicles safely and informs the pound manager of any concerns.
• Carries out the safe removal of all vehicles, assigned either via the tablet p.c. or by telephone from the pound. Ensures all photographs required of the vehicle are taken and completes a vehicle condition report, contacts the pound to confirmremovaland requests the Police are informed.
• Delivers the vehicles to the pound, unloads and takes further photographs. Requests next task from the office and repeats the process.
• Deals with enquiries from the publicregardeningforcement action and ensures the relevant information packs are available.
• Must be flexible in their attitude to working hours, locations and must be prepared to take on other roles, temporarily, as required by the operation.
• Be presentable and showhigh levelsof personal integrity and honesty
