We’re hiring a Finance Manager to partner with our Technology business, delivering insight and commercial challenge that drives performance across Marston Holdings.
The Role
You will support the operational and technology leads, working alongside BI, FP&A, and transactional finance teams to deliver meaningful insight and improve financial performance. You’ll develop a deep understanding of business drivers, translate financial data into clear commercial insight, and support strategic decision-making across the Technology function.

What you’ll be responsible for
- Interpreting and communicating financial results, trends, and variances against plan
- Partnering with operational leads to improve financial performance, working capital, and cash generation
- Delivering insightful analysis, dashboards, and KPIs to support business decisions
- Supporting assessment of new commercial opportunities alongside Business Development
- Assisting budget and forecast preparation for designated lines of business
- Strengthening the financial planning cycle in partnership with FP&A
- Tracking initiatives, synergies, risks, and opportunities against budget and forecast
- Producing weekly performance reporting and leading monthly financial reviews
- Providing ad hoc financial modelling and analysis
What we’re looking for
- Qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA or equivalent)
- Strong commercial and analytical capability, with the ability to influence decision-making
- Advanced Excel skills and confidence working with large datasets
- Experience in management reporting, forecasting, and planning within a multi-site organisation
- Strong communication skills, able to present financial information in clear business language
- Comfortable working in a fast paced, matrix environment
Desirable
- Experience within a technology or service led business
- Exposure to ERP finance systems and using technology to drive efficiencies
- Stock management experience
