Role purpose:
An exciting new opportunity has arisen to join our successful Paraplanning team by providing daily paraplanning support to the financial advisers and clients within the business.
Responsibilities:
- Providing high-quality technical paraplanning support to the adviser team and Paraplanning Manager across all areas of financial advice
- Preparation of suitability letters and reports in line with advice framework standards and compliance
- Research and analysis of financial products
- Analyse clients' circumstances, goals and objectives to match the desired outcome
- Accurately record clients' data and compliance
- Communicate between client and adviser to ensure both parties are updated throughout the process
- Work within desired timescales for completion of tasks
- Project a professional image in both appearance and attitude and provide quality support on time to agreed standards
- Maintain up to date industry knowledge and awareness by attending training days
- Maintain technical competence at an appropriate level to meet the requirements of the role
Qualifications and Attributes:
- Previous and proven successful experience in a paraplanning role is essential
- Diploma or working towards is desirable but not essential
- Genuine interest in Financial Services and paraplanning as a career
- High level of attention to detail and accuracy
- Highly organised
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- IT skills
- Always demonstrates a positive attitude
- Works well as an individual and as part of a large team
