The predicted salary is between 15 - 15 £ per hour.

Location: Sandycroft

Hours: 20 hours per week (5 half-days, flexible)

Pay: £14-£15 per hour

Training: Full Halo PSA training provided from scratch

About the Role

We are looking for a reliable, organised Stores & Facilities Assistant to support our stock control, supplier liaison and basic facilities maintenance. This is a hands-on, varied role suited to someone who enjoys practical work, learning new systems and keeping operations running smoothly.

Key Responsibilities

  • Stock Control (Halo PSA)
    • Goods-in: checking deliveries against orders, booking into Halo, and putting stock away
    • Picking and staging kit/parts for engineers ahead of jobs
    • Monitoring stock levels and raising/flagging reorders
    • Handling returns/RMAs and supporting periodic stock reconciliation
  • Supplier Liaison
    • Placing routine orders with approved suppliers
    • Chasing late deliveries and resolving damaged/wrong items
    • Comparing prices and sourcing better value
    • Owning relationships with key supplier accounts
  • Basic Building Maintenance
    • Bulb/fixture changes, filters, touch-up painting
    • Flat-pack assembly and general tidiness
    • Basic DIY-level plumbing, electrical or trade tasks
  • Health & Safety
    • General premises inspections
    • Routine fire safety checks
    • Workshop/store safety and waste management
    • Van/vehicle inspection
  • Local Deliveries & Collections
    • Occasional local runs (not daily)
    • Full UK driving licence required
    • Use of pool vehicle when available; own vehicle when not
