The predicted salary is between 16800 - 28000 £ per year.

This is a great opportunity to join a fantastic long established manufacturing/engineering business based in Chester where you will receive full training and support, working within a friendly and relaxed environment, and be made to feel part of the team from day one.

You may be an experienced shot blaster, or they are willing to train the right individual who may have already worked in a similar manufacturing/engineering environment and looking to develop a new career. They are a growing and very stable business with long guaranteed order books and this is an opportunity to develop a permanent worthwhile career.

They are part of a privately owned 9000 employee Global Organisation, with their products being shipped to Europe, Middle East, Far East, Asia and the Americas. Being progressive in both their product and processes is important to them. Due to their expansion and their investment in new systems and procedures they are now expanding their team and they see this as an exciting opportunity for them to invest in their future workforce by offering this role.

This is a varied role that would include:

  • Loading and unloading of components onto the track system
  • Preparation of the hangers prior to blasting
  • Prepare finished product for despatch to the factory
  • Load and unload (if FLT licence held)
  • Shot Blasting
  • Housekeeping

Having a valid fork lift truck licence is not essential but would be an advantage.

  • 39 hours per week (four-and-a-half-day week) 8.00-5.00 Mon-Thurs, 8.00-1.00 Friday
