About the Role
We are seeking an organised and enthusiastic Conveyancing Administrator to join our modern Ellesmere Port office. This is an excellent opportunity to provide administrative support to our busy and friendly residential conveyancing team, working alongside three Fee Earners.
The role would suit someone with previous administrative experience within a conveyancing or legal environment who enjoys working in a fast-paced office, has excellent attention to detail, and takes pride in providing high-quality support to colleagues and clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Providing administrative support to the residential conveyancing team.
- Opening new client files and carrying out onboarding procedures.
- Preparing standard correspondence and legal documentation using templates.
- Assisting with file management, scanning, photocopying, filing, and archiving.
- Requesting searches and uploading search results to case management systems.
- Liaising with clients, estate agents, lenders, and solicitors to obtain information and provide updates.
- Answering telephone and email enquiries and directing them appropriately.
- Updating case management systems to ensure client files are accurate and up to date.
- Assisting with completion packs and post-completion administration.
- Supporting the team with general office and administrative duties as required.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a conveyancing, legal administration, or similar administrative role (preferred).
- Good understanding of the residential conveyancing process.
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to prioritise workload and work effectively within a team.
- Competent in Microsoft Office and case management systems.
- Professional, friendly, and client-focused approach.
