Based in Chester, Mon-Thurs 8.00-5.00, Fri 8.00-1.00. This is a great opportunity to join a fantastic long established manufacturing/engineering business where you will receive full training and support, working within a friendly and relaxed environment, and be made to feel part of the team from day one. They are part of a privately owned 9000 employee Global Organisation, with their products being shipped to Europe, Middle East, Far East, Asia and the Americas. Overall Purpose of Job: To ensure that all products are complete in accordance with paperwork, packed as per specification and despatched on a timely basis. This is a varied role that would include:

  • Transport/drive all products between sites, customers, suppliers or any other location deemed necessary by the production manager
  • To load and unload by hand, by FLT and by stacker truck
  • To transport/move items to/from the relevant place within each site
  • To undertake all duties in the packing department as and when required
  • To undertake general housekeeping duties throughout all sites on a regular basis and as required
  • To retrieve items from stock for production
  • Ensuring all paperwork is accurate and up to date at all times
  • Loading and unloading visiting lorries etc.
  • To assist anywhere in the Company on any task as instructed by management

Essential: Full UK (or equivalent) driving licence. Training can be provided in the following areas if not already held:

  • Valid fork lift truck licence
  • Valid pedestrian truck licence
