Field based role covering postcodes, SY, SA, LD, HR, WR, CF, NP and GL.

Within our Commercial Sales team, we are recruiting for an experienced sales professional with a strong background in Commercial Account Management, to develop relationships with our Key Merchant customer base and Groundworkers.

We need you to bring with you your blend of commercial acumen and relationship expertise. This role gives you the freedom and responsibility to shape your own success, managing your entire sales and profitability budget. You will take the lead in designing and executing your business plan, actively partnering with colleagues to collaboratively identify and capture new market opportunities. A key element is cultivating strong relationships with contractors and leading insightful business reviews throughout your region, all anchored by our mission to 'Create Better Spaces.'

What are the mission-critical skills?

  • Experience in the construction industry selling civils or landscaping products to main contractors, sub-contractors, and key merchants is preferred, but we are open to applicants from a range of sectors.
  • Knowledge and experience of products to main contractors, sub-contractors, and especially key merchants.
  • A successful track record including major project and account management.
  • Ability to develop long-term relationships with both customers and colleagues.
  • Self-motivated, dynamic, and driven.
  • Confident at working independently with the skills to work under your own initiative.
  • Presentable, credible, and reliable.

Being home-based you will need to have a driving license and be able to commute within the patch.
