Keeping our operations running, driving innovation and solving complex challenges is what our Engineering team does best. We're looking for a Dual site engineering stores controller to join the team and play a key role in shaping innovative solutions and supporting our long-term success.

What’s the role mission?

You will support our Engineering teams to exceed KPIs for schedule compliance, work volume and inventory levels and drive a proactive approach to the prevention of equipment failure. You will ensure that appropriate engineering spares and inventory is identified, catalogued and available to support asset reliability.

You will report to our Dual Site Administration and Stores Manager and strive to maintain a safe, organised, cost effective, and proactive stores facilities.

What are the mission-critical skills?

  • Experience of operating in an automated manufacturing operation with relevant safety systems, quality and housekeeping standards
  • Experience of computerised maintenance management systems (CMMS)
  • Experience of spares and or stock management systems
  • Able to identify key engineering equipment (PLC's, servo drives, pneumatics, hydraulics etc.) would be beneficial
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral with the ability to accurately complete calculations
  • Strong IT skills and experience using administrative or inventory systems
  • IOSH Managing Safely / NEBOSH General Certificate is desirable
