We are now recruiting for a determined, relationship-driven sales professional to join this successful team as a Regional Sales Manager. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on major civil and drainage projects with a diverse client base in this award-winning team at Marshalls.
What’s the role?
Reporting to the Regional Sales Director, you will leverage your experience from a heavy-side manufacturing background to manage this competitive, high performing, results-driven patch. You will be responsible for maintaining and developing strong relationships with key merchants, contractors, and supply chain partners, ensuring continued engagement and sales growth. Success in this role requires a seasoned sales professional who can sell on a value-added basis and combine strategic account management with proactive business development.
What are the mission-critical skills?
- Proven track record in sales with strong commercial experience managing multiple stakeholders, including builders’ merchants, specifiers, and contractors.
- Exceptional relationship-building skills, to continue engagement and sales growth.
- Strategic thinking with a solutions-based mindset, capable of identifying new opportunities and fostering growth.
- Knowledge of procurement routes and the ability to negotiate using technical information and product specifications.
- Excellent presentation and communication skills, able to influence and engage both internally and externally.
- Experience/ and or knowledge of our Water Management product range would be a distinct advantage.
- Strong organisational skills with attention to detail in both commercial processes and administration.
- A customer-centric mindset, ensuring the highest level of service and satisfaction.
