It's within this skilled team at Marshalls that we're recruiting for an Engineering Team Manager at our Pollington site.
You will support the leadership of the site engineering team to deliver production and engineering plans safely, efficiently and in line with quality, cost and performance targets.
Working closely with the Engineering Manager, you'll help turn engineering strategy into action - driving reliability, improving asset performance and embedding best practice maintenance across the site.
You'll play a key role in engineering planning, ensuring manufacturing assets are proactively maintained and supported by effective systems, processes and resource management.
From supporting maintenance schedules and engineering stores to delivering KPIs aligned with manufacturing performance and business objectives, you'll help keep operations running smoothly.
You'll champion continuous improvement, identifying and implementing best practices while supporting change and project initiatives across the business.
Alongside this, you'll coach and develop team members to maximise performance and engagement, and deputise for the Engineering Manager when required, providing strong day-to-day leadership What skills are you going to bring to the team?3+ Years' experience of operating in a medium/large automated manufacturing operation Electrical and/or mechanical qualifications (time served apprenticeship)Experience of leading an engineering team IOSH Managing Safely / NEBOSH General Certificate Experience of computerised maintenance management systems (CMMS) and stock control systems Experience of working with engineering schedule KPIs Project management and leading/delivering change is desired Knowledge of OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness) would be an advantage Continuous improvement/lean manufacturing techniques e. g.
