Overview
As Plant Manager at Marshalls Mortars & Screeds, you will lead site production, safety compliance, and a performance-driven culture. You’ll guide the site team, collaborate with the National Operations Manager, and drive continuous improvement to hit KPIs. The role sits at the manufacturing heart of a long-standing, sustainability-focused business and shapes how we deliver quality products to customers. You will enable people development, ownership, and transparent operations to sustain success.

Responsibilities
- Lead all site production activities, compliance and health & safety
- Develop a performance-driven culture focused on ownership, accountability, and development
- Manage site-based team members with strong communication and people management
- Collaborate with the National Operations Manager to implement continuous improvement and achieve KPIs
- Foster a proactive safety and quality mindset across the site
Key requirements
- Experience in operating a manufacturing site with responsibility for a team
- Experience in development and performance management
- Demonstrated ability to drive and improve site performance
- Excellent IT skills (MS Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Experience with continuous improvement/lean manufacturing techniques (5S, DMAIC) would be an advantage
- IOSH Managing Safely / NEBOSH General Certificate desirable
