You will be working a shift pattern 4 days on shift / 4 off (Mon – Sun) 12hrs per shift, 05:30am to 05:30pm.

We're currently recruiting an experienced and reliable Production Operative to join our team in Bishopbriggs.
Mission: You will work as part of our manufacturing team to carry out all duties relating to the efficient manufacturing of high-quality products, using all operational techniques and creating the UK's leading roof tiles. You will be required to use manual handling tools, including the use of powered hand tools, machinery, and mechanical handling equipment. You’ll work in an environment where safety, quality, waste, and OEE targets are the norm!
A flexible approach to working requirements is expected to ensure adequate cover to meet production demands, which may require undertaking tasks that are out of your production area. At times, colleagues may need to travel away from site for training or other requirements. A flexible approach to overtime working will be required as it is paid at a time and a third and readily available to those who want it!
Since the Process Operator will work closely with production machinery, it is expected that the successful applicant will be able to understand the fundamental workings of the plant. However, an aptitude for working with automatic production systems and man-machine interfaces is essential.
Mission-critical skills:
- Experience operating in a small/medium manufacturing operation
- FLT counterbalance licence would be preferred but not essential
- Team player with attention to detail
- Good level of English, oral and written
- IOSH qualification is desirable
