Marley Contract Services (MCS) is a roofing contractor operating in Scotland, specialising in pitched roofing applications including Solar PV panels. MCS has a workforce of up to 80 with a small office team of around seven who are based at our office in Bishopbriggs, Glasgow.

If you're a skilled Estimator with a technical mindset and a passion for driving value, we'd love you to join our team in Bishopbriggs. You'll be responsible for ensuring the accuracy of our project estimates and tracking them against actual figures. This role requires a blend of technical expertise and a commercial mindset to drive profitability. You'll work closely with internal departments, collaborate with suppliers, and maintain cost control processes. Ideally you'll have experience in the construction industry, strong analytical capabilities, and a keen eye for detail.

What are the mission-critical skills?

  • Previous experience as an estimator within the construction industry is preferred but not essential
  • Ability to understand technical drawings and requirements
  • IT skills with Microsoft, Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Outstanding problem-solving skills
  • Experience within construction projects and understanding contractual terms and conditions
