We are always looking towards the future and into ways to improve our processes and outputs. We rely on our colleagues and teams to identify how this can be done, with this in mind we are recruiting an experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join our Keele site.
What’s the mission?
Reporting to the Site Engineering Manager, your main responsibilities will be to ensure the continuous running of the production process by eliminating downtime through a safe and logical approach to fault‑finding and maintenance of all site equipment and machinery. You will work on various types of equipment including complex hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical/electronic control systems. You'll need to be an electrically biased engineer and able to commute to our Keele site daily. You will be working a Continental 4 on 4 off shift pattern (06:30 am – 06:30 pm and 06:30 pm – 06:30 am).
What are the mission‑critical skills?
- Electrical engineering skills are essential
- Siemens PLC experience is highly desirable
- JIB 18th edition qualified
- PLC fault finding and diagnostic skills (programming experience would be a distinct advantage)
- Team player with an attention to detail
- Knowledge of HSE regulations & requirements
- Computer literate with excellent communication skills
