Welcome to Marshalls plc, a manufacturer with a long heritage in hard landscaping, building and roofing products. We recruit for an experienced Regional Assessor to join one of our passionate teams. The mission is to recruit, develop, and support contractors within the Marshalls Accredited Scheme; assess workmanship standards; deliver training; and build trusted relationships with driveway installers and landscape contractors to protect the Marshalls brand, enhance customer satisfaction, and ensure installations meet the highest standards.
Responsibilities
- Recruit and develop contractors into the Marshalls Accredited Scheme to meet consumer demand for guaranteed installations.
- Conduct regular workmanship and service assessments of accredited and prospective members.
- Provide advice, guidance, and training to improve installation standards, business practices, and customer service.
- Deliver effective product and installation training to strengthen contractor expertise.
- Communicate new product information and commercial initiatives to ensure contractors are fully informed.
- Maintain accurate CRM records of contractor interactions, assessments, and investigations.
- Investigate guarantee claims, ensuring findings are reported accurately and in line with company procedures.
- Promote Marshalls products, services, and best practice standards to contractors, distributors, and consumers.
- Support members involvement in industry awards to encourage higher standards and showcase excellence.
- Gather and report competitor activity, market intelligence, and potential misuse of Marshalls branding.
- Uphold Marshalls professionalism, integrity, and values at all times.
Requirements / Skills
- An expert in hard landscaping installation with the skills and knowledge to match.
- Strong relationship-building skills with the ability to engage and influence contractors.
- Experience in assessing workmanship and delivering constructive feedback.
- Knowledge of landscaping, driveway installation, or related construction fields.
- Confident in delivering training and technical demonstrations.
- Commercial awareness to support sales and business growth.
- Highly organised with strong record-keeping and reporting skills.
