To facilitate future growth plans, Marley are recruiting for a Quality Manager. This is a newly created role reporting into the SHEQ Quality lead and will be integral to the ongoing development and quality of our products.
As a Quality Manager at Marley you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing quality systems to ensure products meet internal standards, customer expectations, and regulatory compliance, managing teams, auditing processes, analysing quality data, and driving continuous improvement from raw materials to finished goods, focusing on defect prevention, operational excellence, whilst driving and building a quality culture.
Mission-critical skills:
- A degree in a relevant field and/or previous experience of working in a manufacturing environment, measuring product performance and monitoring a production process for compliance to the relevant Quality standard BS EN 490
- Awareness of ISO 9001 and knowledge of statistical techniques/analysis
- Professional Qualification such as CPIM (Certificate in Production and Inventory Management)
- Experience of ERP/MRP systems (e.g. Microsoft AX/SAP)
- Experience of working with large numbers of SKUs an advantage
- Professional Certificate in Quality Management at Chartered level (CQI)
