Area Sales Manager Based: Your Home Office Patch: GU PO RG SO SP

So, what’s the role?

With training and support, you’ll have full autonomy to sell solutions, add value and utilise our innovative products, all under our trusted brand. Ensuring existing relationships are nurtured, you’ll need to balance the development of new and critical business opportunities across a wide range of customers. With your passion for sales and experience with specification, you’ll be able to run the patch almost like your own business and develop profitable relationships.

The first step will be to proactively identify, influence, and deliver a strong pipeline of projects with specifiers and contractors. Once specification opportunities have been established, you’ll negotiate, develop, and implement specific business plans to achieve regional sales targets. You’ll be responsible for the promotion of early pre-tender engagement, and you’ll prepare and present project related value propositions and solutions. The job will include attending regular meetings across your region, and the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and yearly forecasts to support with planning.

What will you need to bring with you?

  • Previous success has shown we need a commercial thinker who has a flair for sales.
  • A passion for your customers, ensuring they are at the heart of all you do.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • The ability to achieve targets through planning, analysis, strategic implementation, and commercial acumen.
  • Excellent organisational skills.
  • The ability to support, influence, and enthuse.
  • Energy, with a clear ambition to progress and a passion for learning.
  • Experience in external sales.
  • Exposure to Specification or Technical Sales would be a bonus.
  • Experience using Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, to develop value-added presentations.

In this regional role, you’ll need to live on patch, have a UK driving license and be willing to travel within the patch covering; GU PO RG SO SP and own your own car (Car allowance and Expenses are part of your package).
