MIG Welder / Fabricator

North Shields

£32,390 per annum (£15.57 per hour)

Monday - Friday 7am - 3:30pm

Marshalls Landscape Protection provides protective street furniture, designed to promote the safety of shared urban spaces. Part of the Marshalls Group, Landscape Protection has an extensive collection of everything from bollards, planters, and seating in various material options, available as crash-tested or non-crash-tested.

We’re now recruiting for a MIG Welder to join our busy manufacturing department at our North Shields site.

What’s the mission?

In this exciting role, you will be supporting the production of our extensive range of protective street furniture and counter-terrorism products. You will be an enthusiastic team player with a willingness to succeed and develop new skills.

You will have previous experience in MIG welding Mild Steel varying from 2mm up to 20mm thick as well as being able to dress welds to a high standard. Previous experience in carrying out basic fabrication tasks is beneficial.

There will be opportunities to work within other areas of the North Shields site when required to cover colleagues' holidays and absences.
