So, what’s the mission?
We're looking for a motivated and reliable Aggregate Plant Operator to join our Operations Team at Marshalls Maltby.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and takes pride in maintaining high standards of safety, housekeeping and operational excellence.
As the Aggregate Plant Operator, you will play a key role in ensuring the efficient running of the aggregate tower while supporting the wider production operation.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor the aggregate tower to ensure it is operating safely and efficiently.
- Carry out routine inspections and report any equipment faults or abnormalities promptly.
- Maintain excellent housekeeping standards within the aggregate plant area.
- Manage aggregate deliveries, ensuring deliveries are received accurately and safely.
- Check delivery documentation and ensure all paperwork is completed correctly.
- Pass all delivery documentation and relevant paperwork to the Administration team in a timely manner.
- Ensure aggregate stock levels and raw material stock control are monitored and elevate any shortages or concerns.
- Work closely with Production, Maintenance and Administration teams to support daily operations.
- Follow all Health & Safety procedures and company policies.
- Contribute to continuous improvement activities and support a clean, safe and organised workplace.

- Current Shovel Loader Licence and FLT
- Good communication and organisational skills.
- Ability to work independently and use initiative.
- Strong attention to detail, particularly when completing paperwork.
- Commitment to maintaining high standards of safety and housekeeping.
- Reliable, dependable and able to work as part of a wider operational team.
Desirable
- Previous experience working within a manufacturing, quarry, aggregates or heavy industrial environment.
- Experience operating mobile plant.
- Knowledge of stock control or material handling processes
