Your role as Site Administrator is absolutely vital – you will be the organisational lynchpin that keeps the site running smoothly. You will interact daily with every department, making you an integral and highly valued member of the team. The Site Administrator is central to the Halifax operation, acting as a highly dynamic site generalist supporting all Marshalls trading divisions.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing the Point of Sale (POS) and Marketing Material Portfolio.
- Providing crucial administrative support for internal sales and front office planning.
- Serving as a primary administrative contact for high-level customers.
- Streamlining technical team workflows.
- Expertly managing the site's job issuance process – from receiving job requests via email or job sheets, to recording and efficiently dispatching them to the shop floor for production, alongside handling ad-hoc requests promptly.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure that quality incidents/non-conformances result in all affected product or material being contained and identified as unavailable for sale, ensuring that colleagues in sales are made aware of any service risk.
- Communicate any potential product changes (e.g., poor quality RPL/RTW) to stakeholders and put appropriate plans in place to manage stock segregation and minimise customer impact.
- Maintain all production, stock information and records in a timely manner and accurately to facilitate the efficient and economical supply of finished goods.
- Ensure that all items produced are supported by a production order to facilitate accurate and timely production and accounts data whilst providing an audit trail.
- Investigate and solve production order discrepancies.
- Identify variations and propose solutions to limit impact.
- Ensure all items purchased are supported by an authorised requisition where necessary, providing an audit trail.
- Investigate and solve invoice queries.
- Support the site management team by providing the required data and reports.
