We now have an opportunity for an experienced Electrical Engineer with some Mechanical skills to join our busy Maintenance Team at our production site in Mells. Working as part of the team, your main responsibilities will be to ensure the continuous running of the production process by eliminating engineering downtime through a safe and logical approach to fault finding and maintenance of equipment reactive engineering activities on site. You will be operating on a shift pattern working Monday to Friday (06:00am - 2:00pm and 2:00pm - 10:00pm).

Qualifications- A strong electrical working knowledge with some mechanical experience.
- The ideal applicant will be a qualified, time served in a similar position ideally at NVQ 3 level.
- Ideally apprenticeship trained qualified to the 18th edition wiring regulations.
- PLC fault finding skills would be a distinct advantage.
- Experience in mechanical fitting, welding, fabrication and general machining would be an advantage.
- Experienced in reactive and planned maintenance of electrical systems controlling hydraulics, pneumatics, conveyors (belts, chain, rollers, bearings, gear boxes, motors etc.) and able to read technical drawings.
- 34 days per annum or the equivalent in hours (inclusive of bank holidays).
