We are recruiting a Maintenance Engineering Planner to support both our Mells and Newport sites. This is a dual-site role, typically based three days per week at Mells and two days per week at Newport. The Planner is a core part of the site's maintenance and operations process, contributing to daily reviews, weekly planning and a two-week look-ahead.
Responsibilities
- Time-served apprentice in mechanical or electrical engineering
- Experience in a maintenance planning role within manufacturing or heavy industry
- Strong CMMS capability and confident with data; Excel essential, Power BI useful
- Understanding of RCM, FMEA, CBM or other reliability tools, or willingness to learn
- Strong organisational discipline and accurate record-keeping
- Able to work with engineers, operators, contractors and managers and keep everyone aligned
- Comfortable challenging decisions when safety or compliance is at risk
- Practical, detail-driven and focused on improving uptime and planning discipline

We supply a wide range of natural stone, concrete, drainage, brick and roofing solutions to commercial, public sector and domestic markets. Although divisional, we operate as one Marshalls team.
