We are recruiting an experienced professional with a strong background in commercial account management to develop relationships with Sub Contractors and our Key Specialist Merchant customers. You will have full responsibility for your sales and profitability budget and own the implementation of your own business plan while identifying new business opportunities with colleagues. You will manage Contractors and attend regular business reviews within your region in line with our Creating Better Spaces ethos. You will bring project tracking and conversion skills and contribute to a supportive, entrepreneurial team.
Responsibilities- Develop and manage relationships with Sub Contractors and Key Specialist Merchants.
- Own and deliver your sales and profitability budget.
- Implement your own business plan and identify new business opportunities.
- Manage Contractors and participate in regular business reviews within your region.
- Utilise project tracking and conversion skills to drive results.
- Sales and/or Account Management experience in the construction industry, selling to sub-contractors and key specialist merchants.
- Successful track record including major project and account management.
- Ability to develop long-term relationships with customers and colleagues.
- Proven project-tracking and conversion skills.
- Self-motivated, dynamic, and driven; able to work independently with initiative.
- Presentable, credible, and reliable.
- Field-based role requires a full UK driving licence and ability to commute within the patch.
